This is an original oil painting.  In this elk oil painting, I sought to capture the quiet strength and presence that define these remarkable creatures. Elk move through the landscape with a balance of power and grace, their muscular forms are built for endurance across forests, meadows, and mountain terrain. I’m inspired by the resilience and wild beauty of our local elk. Through texture, light, and form, I aimed to reflect its deep connection to the rhythms of nature and the untamed spirit of the wilderness.
