Frames for oil paintings
The floating frame gives the illusion that your artwork is "floating" within the frame instead of being covered by it. A 3/8" clearance between the canvas and the edge of the frame creates the floating effect. Great care is taken in finishing the wood, and all colors are hand-applied.
Thicker wood floater frames
The depth is 1 3/4"
and accommodates
3/4", 7/8" & 1 1/2" canvas
These thicker frames come in sizes
8x8" up to 20x24"
Thinner Maple wood floater frames
The depth is 1 1/4" x 5/16" wide
accommodates 3/4"& 7/8"canvas
